Girly Name Banners

Lucky me, I had a chance to do some really cute & easy name banners for some little girls in my area... ;)

I used a couple of discontinued SU paper packs (for the girls favorite colors), whisper white & real red CS, Sticky strip (wow, did I mention how cool this stuff is!!!), sizzix petals-a-plenty texture folder, circle cutter, scallop circle die & the Serif Essentials Alphabet Sizzix dies; then I dove into my stash for the ribbon & bling. R ;)

the other day I was supposed to mention a little more about that special email I received last week... my days are so full of Christmas prep -I forgot!! however, it is getting harder & harder to keep my secret -- sure can't wait to tell!! & be assured, I will deliver - some very delicious blog candy fairly soon... somewhere between Christmas & my secret -- I am very excited, & so far the only news that has improved on having said that: UPS says I'm scheduled for an SU delivery!!!!! hee hee, MERRY CHRISTMAS to me, then in short it will be a MERRY CHRISTMAS to atleast one lucky blog reader...

SU HOSTESS CLUB christmas party

last night was our SU HOSTESS CLUB CHRISTMAS PARTY & it was a great success...

we stamped, we inked, we cut, we glued, we ATE! we melted, we froze!!! we yankee swapped, we gave, we received, we glittered -- we even had the RCMP visit us!.... ;)

WE HAD FUN!!!!

we did a MYSTERY HOSTESS ORDER before the HOLIDAY MINI RETIREMENT...

Stamping Friends & Email Surprizes

lol, you never know when you are going to get a wonderful surprize -- the other day was a monday -- not just a regular monday, but real gloom & doom monday, the kind that shakes you around & you remember all about Murphy`s Law... I was thinking, how on earth am I ``gonna get it all done, cope, survive`` all this holiday stuff & everyday life & curve balls, etc, etc, etc... yup, the pressure was on... later that night, I finally sat down & checked my email, low & behold an email from a recent `new found` stamping friend... that email threw me right back into `reality` -- completely made my day!! & totally washed away all that yucky `gloom & doom monday` stuff -- just like that -- lol, maybe not quite cloud 9, but atleast 8.5 or so... what a welcome surprize!! stick around & in a few days I`ll tell you more about that email & maybe even find some blog candy, until then HAPPY STAMPING ;) R

I used SU whisper white CS, very vanilla CS, Petals-a-plenty texture folder, Sizzix top note die, twill ribbon, modern punch, real red ink & SU `be merry`stamp. (holly berry & leaf: non-SU).

SCENIC SEASON Stamped Candles!!!

sorry, I have posted in what seems like forever...
so I have a couple of posts tonight...

This is my first try at stamping on candles!!
love, love, LOVE IT!! & SO EASY!!!
if you haven`t tried - DO - you`ll be so shocked at the ease!!

I used a 3 inch unscented candle, real red stampin up marker & garden green ink on plain old tissue paper along with the trees from SU`s SCENIC SEASON stamp set, a heat gun & some glitter I had kicking around... sorry the bottom pics are blurry, but you get the idea ;) R
