lol, I'm gonna warn ya now: the Christmas cards have started!!! these 2 cards are done with very vanilla, chocolate chip & basic grey CS, few punchs & sizzix texture folders, some chunky glitter & a few rhinestones fr the easter kit!! R ;)

















instructions for the chocolate chip card: scraps of CS; smooch spritzed the chocolate chip CS backgound & scallop trim edge punched one edge;
punched the snowflakes from very vanilla & stamped snowflakes in basic grey ink on very vanilla CS & bo ho punched them, ran scraps of very vanilla & basic grey thru SWIRLY sizzlits strip die; then trimmed to length & added chunky glitter to basic grey swirl with 2 way glue. R ;)

I must say: I "LOVE" playing with the MDS program from SU!!
I needed to do a bunch of quick thank you cards & this is what I came up with... then I just played around with different Sizzix texture folders, the top note die, whisper white CS & grey satin ribbon also from SU.... R ;)

here's a card I've had finished for a while but I'm just getting around to posting... it's been so long since I completed the card I forget which colors I actually used... sorry ;)
guessing: so saffron, rich razzleberry & melon mambo, along with white & kraft & of course shimmer spray!.....
I must say the Presto paper is so very pretty...

Roses grow in Heaven, Lord, pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Father's arms & tell him they're from me. Tell him that I love & miss him & when he turns to smile, place a kiss upon his cheek & hold him for a while. Because remembering him ......is......easy. I do it everyday.There's an ache within my heart that will never...go away....

A NEW catalogue & Farewell Party

Last night some of my scrappers & stampers

got together for our regular "drop-in" night, however,

this was no regular night!!!!

We gathered to wish farewell to our friend, who's moving on...

Chocolate cake, ice cream & lots of laughs...

Phew!! the Retirement Party that lasts all JUNE!!

Last night I held a RETIREMENT party & we had a blast!! Most of the girls from my 2009/10 hostess club showed up + a couple others.... LOL, not one of us stamped nor cut a thing!!

WE WERE TOO BUSY!!

We reviewed the catalogue & made our notes, wishlists & "flat out" must haves!! We laughed, we mused & we ATE!! You missed strawberry short cake w chocolate sauce & strawberry frozen yogurt!!! Yum ;)

The girls were so excited 5 signed up for next year's hostess club on the spot!!!
