A non-stamping friend of mine wanted to make a gift for a hard to buy for family member... She asked me to help her come up with something... She brought papers she had already purchased & I added as much SU as possible to the design ~ I loved the results...

how am I ever going to keep quiet till friday?? I promised not to tell... but, I am so excited.. oh man... & everyone knows I like (read love) chocolate.... nope, you can't bribe me... this is quite possibly the "bestest" Christmas present ever... humm, you can leave me a comment & try to guess my secret... the pay off, well... blog candy... ;) might not be edidible, but it sure will be holiday tradition... oh boy, I gotta get off this crazy computer & get stamping before I let the cat out of the bag... R ;)

Meet Jasper & Java

Jasper & Java have just arrived at our house on the weekend... they are 12 weeks old males & full of fun... we adopted them from our local animal rescue league after the family (one of my best scrapping friends) that adopted their mother was unable to care for them when their son was diagnosed with cancer. as you may notice they are mixed breed, their mother was pure black.. their marking are absolutely beautiful & pretty much symetrical, siamese blue point & tiger striped too... Java is the darker of the 2... we love them.. R ;)

SU whisper white & mellow moss CS, petals-a-plenty texture folder, Top Note Sizzix diecut, Scenic Season stamp set, SU Mellow Moss ink, sponge dauber, versamark ink, heat & stick powder, heat gun, dazzling diamonds glitter, frost white shimmer paint & alcohol spritz.

Not sure if you can see the difference between the 2 photos, but the trees have dazzling diamonds glitter & the snowy field is 'shimmer paint & alcohol spritz'; in person, there is a more definate 'line' & shading between the whites.... kinda have to get the right angle... ;)
