over the weekend, we had a rain storm blow thru with some high winds, which is nothing new for November ~ those winds produced some waves that are typical for this area... these photos are the day after the wind ~ imagine making your living from the sea... come tuesday, the lobster fishermen (& women) are scheduled to set their lobster traps, however, we wait to see what mother nature give for weather, as she is the ultimate decider of when the season starts... as I write, I hear the wind howling louder than the other day.... pray for our fisherman.....

the dark brown clumps in the water & on the beach is mostly seaweed or kelp...
imagine how far the tree has come....
Excellent photographs!!!!!

Just dropped by your blog to have a browse and was astounded by these powerful photos. Thank you for sharing and I join your sentiments regarding the fishermen and women who risk their lives to bring the bounty of the sea to all of us.
